During this outing you will explore the idyllic village of Giethoorn in a Canadian canoe. You will sail along picturesque canals and beautiful natural areas. Find an island, relax along the shore and enjoy the view.
At the start of the canoe trip, the staff will explain the different routes and you will receive a route map. You start by paddling the canals of Giethoorn, the perfect exercise to test your canoeing skills. You'll paddle together over narrow canals and whiz across the water at your own pace. With more than 50 kilometers of canals, there is plenty of water. After the adventure in the Giethoorn canals, you'll end up on the lakes Boven-Beulaker- and Belterwijde in National Park Weerribben and the Wieden. Together, these areas are the largest contiguous low moorland swamp area in northwestern Europe. Moor at an island and relax in this beautiful nature reserve. An indispensable highlight of Giethoorn!
